![]() After the first mini-boss, you can do example #2 with the red enemies (i.e., only go for the red enemies). For instance, the second you're dropped into the game, you can do example #1 on the first set of enemies. The first level is a great way to learn both kinds of chains. Shoot as many of the same color without breaking the chain. Shoot red, then *one* blue, then as many yellow as you can 2. There's not much you need to know other than what your firepower options are and how to do chains. When you're comfortable there, then go for arcade mode. It's a good way to learn the stage layouts and boss patterns while not having to worry about chaining. It saves your weapon levels for subsequent playthroughs making your life easier. If you have access to the console versions, then Saturn/Story mode is a good way to start. ![]() So - does anyone have any advice for how to approach this game? Am I doing the right thing just kind banging my head against it? For those of you who have beaten and even 1CCd it - what was your process like? I've only been working on this for a few days, and not for a ton of time - but I'm lucky if I make it to 3C, let alone through it. ![]() Not to mention, the way the game is structured, it seems like you need a high amount of strategy just to survive. ![]() RS seems to be completely unapproachable in this way - for instance, if you're not chaining, as far as I understand it, you're not leveling up your weapons - and leaving yourself underpowered. I've played a lot of shmups, and usually, you can just kind of approach them in terms of survival, learning movement, slowly picking up mechanics, then - finally - scoring. I was wondering if anyone had any resources / tips / etc in terms of how to learn Radiant Silvergun. Hey all! Apologies if this isn't the right place or if there's a thread my search didn't find. ![]()
